Research Thoughts

I have never had a problem with research papers in general. What really makes or breaks a research paper for me is the topic I am doing it on. It helps to research a topic you're interested in over one that doesn't appeal to you. Often times, it shows in the quality of work in the paper as well. When teachers let the students pick their own topic to work with, they are giving the students more freedom and power to think for themselves and explore their interests. Writing and learning can't always be fun, but it's great when it can be.
