Writing Skills

I think I'm a decent writer. I hope to write a book one day! I have certainly improved my writing skills over the period of this quarter, even though it was torture at times. I have always been good at analyzing texts, but I think this class has helped be able to explain why something is the way it is. What I find most important that I have learned is that I find myself asking, "why am I writing this?" Thinking in this way helps my writing to be more pursuasive and have purpose.
